China's National Day

The origins of National Day can be traced back to the same day in 1949, when Chairman Mao Zedong announced the founding of the People's Republic of China in Beijing's Tiananmen Square, marking the end of China's long feudal era and war years and ushering in a period of peace and stability. October 1st every year becomes China's National Day, symbolizing the country's independence and unity.
