Small individuals with shell length less than 150(40~220) mm lived in the low tide area, while large individuals with shell length less than 250(185~350)mm were distributed in the subtidal zone. They also live in groups with coelenterates, brachiopods, bean crabs (Pinnotheres sp.), and Gastrochaena grandis.
