There are around 300-400 catching boats to catching Illex Squid, recent years the catching volume become less and less.
White squid:
When freezing on board, if don’t control well the temperature, the squid is not alive before freezing. Frozen Illex Squid WR will become white after frozen. So the color of frozen Illex Squid is deeper (Chocolate color), the squid is fresher.

Processing and Packing
People often process this product by removing skin, viscera and wings. Generally, the raw materials for making squid fillet are relatively large and acid-containing, so the factory has to do some acid off treatment. Some squid even needs to do macula off treatment.
Some squid fillet isn’t requested to take the skin off, but material. Some is processed into pineapple-shaped cut, we will select them according to the client’s specifications.
The thickness of this product are various which depends on the size of the squid with an average of 2.3 to 1.8 cm. Its appearance consists of firm skin, smooth and pearly white.

From fishing to frozen, our in-process quality control personnel will follow and supervise the whole process, and distinguish the quality of the product by looking, touching, smelling, cutting, testing and so on.
Details: randomly check 2-3 boxes of goods in each pallet, record the data (grams, bars, weights, thawed quality, etc.) and send photos to customers. -20℃ cold chain transportation is applied to ensure that the product will reach the final destination in the best condition.
Our supporting documents department will draw up a set of draft copies for the customer to confirm, then sign the original copies quickly, and scan them to the customer's mailbox before mailing. We will keep following up and reminding the customer of ETA to get ready to pick up the product without wasting the unnecessary cost and time at the port.
