The purple back flying squid or purple back squid is a species of cephalopod in the family Ommastrephidae, occurring in the Indo-Pacific. It is considered one of the most abundant large squids.
The Black squid can be recognized by a large yellow light organ under the skin in animals >10cm body length. The lower edge of the body is permanently fused to the funnel.

Application
Besides sell to market directly, one of the most popular ways to use black squid is processing into dried squid. It can keep for longer time and can be bubbled by water again before to eat.

Processing and Packing
Black squid is different from other squids, it also has frozen materials on factory. So it can be processed by fixing weight by carton packing (10kg/box or any customer request). And we can process IQF black squid. Also, it has frozen black squid on boat with woven bag packing.
