According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to July, Fujian's aquatic product exports were 26.64 billion, ranking first in the country in terms of export scale. Among them, private enterprises exported 21.69 billion, accounting for 81.4% of the total export value of aquatic products in Fujian Province during the same period, and their role as the main force was highlighted.

Data shows that Asia is Fujian Province's largest aquatic product export market. From January to July, Fujian Province exported a total of 20.2 billion of aquatic products to Asia, accounting for 75.8% of Fujian Province's total aquatic product export value during the same period. Products are mainly sold to Malaysia, Thailand and Taiwan.

According to Xiamen Customs sources, from January to July, the export value of several single categories of aquatic products, including frozen mackerel, frozen squid, prepared or preserved crabs, won the national crown.
