On the evening of September 10, Norwegian Prime Minister Steller appeared at Shanghai East Hongqiao Center. After a brief visit, he put on a blue apron and "brought goods" of his own seafood on site. He held the dinner plate and invited everyone to try the Norwegian salmon and mackerel, while introducing: "Try it quickly, it's very fresh."

Norway is the world's second largest exporter of seafood, and China is an important market for Norwegian seafood exports. At the Seventh China Salmon Industry Development Summit Forum held in August, data released by the Norwegian Seafood Agency showed that from January to July this year, Norway's total seafood exports to China were approximately 89,856 tons, with an export value of NOK 4.87 billion ( Approximately 3.3 billion), a year-on-year increase of 14%.

Steller said, "Norway exports seafood to many countries in Asia, and we are very happy to see the rapid growth of seafood trade in the Chinese market. We still hope to cooperate with relevant Chinese departments to help Chinese consumers and eliminate all factors that make these products Expensive obstacles."

The Norwegian seafood industry has been working hard to expand into the Chinese market. Steller said that the Norwegian seafood industry has rich export experience. Some companies invest in China to expand their business in China, and some companies use various channels such as retail stores to reach Chinese consumers. We are on the right track. On the road, we will continue to expand the market in China and establish contact with the Chinese market.

Steller also emphasized exporting the freshest products to China. Steller said: "In order to ensure the freshness of seafood exported to China, it is very important to shorten the time. Our industry needs to cooperate with Chinese partners. I believe that if this is done, they will be successful."

In order to expand the Chinese market, the Norwegian Seafood Bureau "does as the locals do" and began to actively contact China's new media platforms two years ago. Bi Siming, director of the Norwegian Seafood Bureau, pointed out: "New media is now very popular in China. In order to attract more young people's attention, we integrate Norwegian seafood with the daily diet of Chinese consumers and cook Norwegian seafood on-site using Chinese cooking methods. , and create beautiful content to share on the platform."
