Tegillarca granosa (scientific name: Tegillarca granosa) is a mollusk belonging to the family Tegillarca, also known as blood clam, silver clam, flower clam, boold clam and so on. The shells are scalloped or oval. The left and right shells are the same shape and fit each other. Length 2-7 cm, height 2-6 cm. The back is slightly obtuse at both ends, and the ventral margin is rounded. The top of the shell protrudes. The surface radiating ribs are developed, 18-21 ribs have very significant granular nodules, that is, there are thick scales on the radiating ribs, and its back is raised, with obvious straight edges like corrugations, radiating from the top point to the four sides. The surface of the shell is white, covered by brown thin skin, the growth chakra is obvious in the ventral margin, slightly scaly layer. The inner surface of the shell is smooth, grayish white, with prominent broad serrated edges and deep grooves corresponding to the radiating ribs of the shell. The anterior closed shell muscle mark is triangular and the posterior closed shell muscle mark is square.
