What Is The Todarodes Squid?
Todarodes Squid is also called Japanese squid, Pacific squid or Todarodes Pacificus squid.
The body is slender and streamlined. As its name, species of oceanic squid can fly more than 30 metres (100 feet) through the air if it wants to escape predators. It is the reason why some Chinese call it "plane squid".

Description
Todarodes Squid is captured in the Pacific Ocean. Several fishing methods are used. The main method is jigging, which is conducted in coastal waters around much of China. Other fishing methods includes purse seiners, trap/set/pound nets (hereafter referred to as pound nets), and bottom trawls in the ocean.
