Description
Blanched Squid Ring has a mild and subtle sweetness taste with a firm and tender texture. Different material squid has different processing according EU standard. It becomes opaque white color after peeling skin.
Application
Squid is a major food resource and are used in cuisines around the world. Done right, squid or calamari, is tender and sweet with just the right amount of crunch. Each ring only needs to cook in oil for about 1 minute. The most popular preparation is fried. Marinade in a mixture of garlic, lemon zest, rosemary and olive oil for a day before cooking. Squid is a good food source for zinc and manganese, and high in copper, selenium, vitamin B12, and riboflavin.
Packing and Processing
According to requirement, Squid ring can be processed by different kinds of squid. Usually it has three kinds: Todarodes Pacificus, Indian Ocean Squid and Dosidicus Gigas. Some squid materials have strongly acid so that our squid rings will be processed according to EU standards. Removing yellow spot and acid will make squid ring chewier. Ensure the best quality to satisfy client's demand.
Besides the normal 10kg bulk frozen, we also provide the retail packing (1kg bag*10 per carton), which is very convenient for supermarket/ restaurant.
