What is North Pacific squid

North Pacific squid is not an ordinary squid; it's a treasure of the deep sea, scientifically known as *Euthyneustes sociale*, belonging to the class Cephalopoda, order Podopoda, and about 10-15 cm in length. Caught in the North Pacific, it's called the North Pacific squid. It's not a "true squid," but rather a species of squid with firm flesh and a flavor far superior to other squid.

North Pacific squid is smaller than the Peruvian giant squid, but more expensive. Its flesh is more tender and has a fresher taste, completely incomparable to ordinary squid found in the market.

Caught from the deep sea using light-caught fishing technology, its freshness is ensured. The internal organs are removed, and the squid is thoroughly cleaned with deep-sea water. It can be cooked directly after thawing – incredibly convenient.
