reveal Peruvian squid

Peruvian squid, also known as giant squid, is China's fishing and continuous supply of the largest ocean-going self-caught squid, belongs to the year-round fishing species, mainly used as processing raw materials, weight up to 200 kilograms!
Recently, with the plummeting production of squid in the North Pacific Ocean, the production of squid silk, which is the main raw material, has been greatly impacted, so the production units are scrambling to find substitutes for the raw material of squid in the North Pacific Ocean. Argentine squid and Japanese squid were excluded due to their high prices. The squid silk produced by Mexican squid as raw materials, although the taste is slightly inferior to the squid silk produced by the North Pacific raw materials, but the appearance is far better than the latter, so it is strongly welcomed by the dealers, but with the formation of the buyer's market, the price gradually rises, the supply gradually declines, and the production needs of each production unit can not be met.
So people's attention turned to the undeveloped Peruvian squid, which is not optimistic about by the locals, and has very rich resources and very low prices. Peru squid because of its large catch, the price is relatively cheap, by many domestic squid silk processing plants, generally processed in foreign squid raw materials, such as a variety of squid heads, raw plates, cooked plates, raw ears, cooked ears, squid, etc., imported into the country for squid silk processing.
Catching giant squid is a skill, and they usually do it using a piece of fishing gear called a lantern hook. Squid catchers put squid guts on a lantern hook with a diameter of 15 centimeters and a height of 20 centimeters, and tie a rope about 8 millimeters thick. Not only that, another 2.5 mm thick steel wire is needed to tie the end of the rope.
Under normal circumstances, the hook can be lowered into the sea at a depth of about 60 meters, and the operator will pull the squid onto the boat by pulley, which needs to be very careful. Generally, the neck part of squid is relatively brittle, and it is easy to break when the pulley and fishing line are at a 90 degree Angle. Once the force is too strong, it is often only able to pull up a squid head. At this time, a certain buffer is needed to carefully ensure the integrity of the squid.
For the North Pacific and East China Sea, these squid are of poor quality, but for squid products such as shredded and dried squid, Peruvian squid is an excellent raw material.
Peru squid caught from the southeast Pacific high seas southern latitude fishing ground, rough processing into head, tail, film, commonly known as three large pieces, under normal years, large squid production accounted for 40% of the total squid in Peru. Year-round fishing: Fishing time for more than 4 kg is from September to May of the following year, and fishing time for less than 4 kg is from June to October.
