As one of the largest aquatic trade exhibitions in the world, the 25th China International Fishery Expo, sponsored by The Agricultural Industry Branch of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, opened in Qingdao, attracting nearly 1,000 Chinese and foreign enterprises from 19 countries and regions.

From once "it was difficult to eat fish" to now "there are fish every year", China has become the world's largest trader of aquatic products and the most active aquatic products market. In 2020, the total output of aquatic products in China reached 65.49 million tons, with aquaculture products accounting for 79.8 percent. China's aquaculture production accounts for more than 60% of the world's total aquaculture output. In other words, 80 percent of China's domestic aquatic products come from farming; China accounts for 60 percent of global farming.

In terms of food supply, by 2020, China will have more than 300 kinds of aquaculture, and the annual per capita amount of aquaculture products is 37 kg, twice the world average. According to experts' estimates, about 1/4 of the animal protein consumption of Chinese residents comes from aquaculture products, and it is increasing continuously.

In this year's China International Fishery Expo, Shanghai Fisheries Group, under Bright Food Group, joined hands with Bright Fishery. Two domestic brands "Longmen" and "Shuijinyang" of Shanghai Fisheries Group, and three imported brands "ALbo", "Altamare" and "FCS" of Shanghai Fisheries Group, produced high-protein seafood and some new products at the booth. Including Argentina red shrimp, black fish fillet and other semi-finished dishes. This is a brand new attempt of Bright Food Group based on the extension of ocean fishing industry chain, focusing on the realization of "commodities" to "food", attracting many customers to communicate and negotiate.
