Application

There are two sources of parental fish for the SEABASS. One is sexually mature individuals caught in natural spawning grounds, and the other is 3 to 5 kg individuals reared in cages or ponds for 2 to 6 years. Wild adult fish can also be domesticated in cages or ponds for at least half a year, and then used as parents for artificial breeding. When trapping wild populations, try to keep squeezing to a minimum to avoid injury to the parents. Fish caught should be immediately put into spawning ponds or cages. Before entering the pool, the fish should be treated with an antibiotic such as oxytetracycline at a concentration of 2×10-6, bathed for 24 hours, and injected with 20 mg of juice per kilogram of body weight.
