Seafood was mainly exported to Japan, the United States, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines, Vietnam and Mexico, accounting for 75.94% of total seafood exports.

In the first five months of this year, Japan is the most important market for aquatic products export, with exports of 1.604 billion US dollars, up 10.62% year on year. In May alone, Japan exported 409 million US dollars, up 8.55% year on year.
